Why Corvo Exists
I spent four years selling door-to-door for independent waste haulers. I knocked on thousands of doors, walked through hundreds of loading docks, and looked at more waste contracts than I can count.
What I saw over and over: businesses overpaying — sometimes dramatically — locked into contracts they didn't fully understand, getting terrible service from national companies that treated them like account numbers instead of customers.
And on the other side, I saw independent haulers providing better service at lower costs, but businesses didn't know they existed. The nationals had the marketing budgets, the sales teams, and the lock-in contracts. The independents had better routes, better service, and better prices — but no way to reach the businesses that needed them.
Corvo bridges that gap. We connect businesses with the right haulers, handle the complexity, and make sure nobody's getting taken advantage of.
The Name
Corvus — Latin for “the crow.” Crows are among the most intelligent birds on Earth. They recognize patterns, solve problems, and remember faces.
But the corvus was also something else: a Roman naval boarding device that let smaller ships defeat the larger Carthaginian vessels. A small force beating a bigger one through clever engineering.
That's what Corvo is. Smart beats big.
